Hi. My name is Alex Cardenas. I was raised in a small town in Iowa, where I currently reside with my Siberian Husky, Spartacus. My high school and college years were marked by my active participation in football, soccer, and track. Early on, I discovered a profound passion for sports, embracing both the challenges and the dedication required to excel on and off the field. Despite spending several years in the retail industry, it took me some time to discern my true calling. Eventually, I found myself consistently drawn back to the world of sports and fitness. This realization became the defining moment when I decided to pursue my lifelong aspirations. 

I currently hold certifications as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, Level 1 Precision Nutrition Certification, NSCA Strength and Conditioning Certification, ISSA Speed and Agility, and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Iowa. I also serve as a high school football and soccer coach.

Throughout the previous 10+ years, I have dedicated myself to mastering and applying effective strategies and techniques that yield enduring results, promoting both physical and mental well-being.

Utilizing the skills acquired over my extensive experience, I foster strong connections with my clients, emphasizing lasting outcomes. My approach involves setting achievable goals and implementing meticulous plans to fulfill the unique desires of each client.

I differentiate myself from overly enthusiastic trainers by preferring a balanced approach, tailoring sessions to the individual pace of my clients while encouraging them to surpass their goals. Recognizing the challenges of working out, I alleviate the burden by guiding clients through a smooth transition and imparting fundamental strength training principles. For those seeking an authentic one-on-one personal training experience, I am eager to collaborate with you!
